C.G. Robinson & Sons Ltd is committed to providing customers with the right plant and equipment to carry out work safely. Our hire fleet is inspected, serviced and maintained by our experienced team, with documented pre-hire safety checks completed before equipment is supplied to customers.
Statutory examinations and certification are provided for applicable lifting and pressurised plant, with scheduled examination dates maintained electronically and service history records retained for our equipment. We work closely with equipment manufacturers and customers to support safe operation, planned preventative maintenance and the provision of appropriate safety features, operator information and additional safeguards where required.
Plant and Equipment Health, Safety and Maintenance
C.G. Robinson & Sons Ltd follows established health and safety procedures across our plant hire fleet, helping customers receive equipment that is properly inspected, maintained and prepared for safe operation. Our aim is to provide customers with the right plant and equipment to carry out their work safely.
Applicable lifting and pressurised plant is supplied with statutory examination tests and certification, with scheduled examination dates recorded electronically. Our plant and machinery is maintained by our experienced team, with service history records retained and planned preventative maintenance used to support equipment safety and reduce breakdowns.
Our hire plant is supplied in accordance with applicable industry standards and CPA Terms & Conditions. Manufacturer safety features are provided as standard, with additional safety features available for discussion where specific equipment, site conditions or customer requirements require further protection.
Plant Hire Safety Procedures and Equipment Checks
Our standard health and safety procedures and equipment initiatives include:
- Documented pre-hire safety checks before plant and equipment is supplied
- Service sign-off records confirming satisfactory completion of servicing work
- Operator manuals supplied with higher-risk plant and machinery
- Working with equipment manufacturers to improve safety, technical information and warranty support
- Health and safety assessment as part of new equipment acquisition decisions
- Planned preventative maintenance to support equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns
- Regular examination of equipment guards and the provision of warning signals, including beacons, where applicable
- Roll-over protection systems (ROPS) fitted to applicable plant and machinery
